Claud Butler Ridge 1.0 - Electric Bike - Light Grey 250W
Product Description
Introducing the all-new Claud Butler Ridge 1.0 electric mountain bike – the sibling of our best-selling Claud Butler Wrath.
The Ridge 1.0 is equipped with an integrated 375wh battery that delivers up to 40 miles/64km of range and can be charged from flat in 5 hours – either with the battery installed on the bike or removed using the provided keys for improved safety and convenience. The added security of a key lock for the battery gives you peace of mind when parked up in a public place.
The bike is powered by the well-regarded Bafang rear hub motor system to deliver 32nm of torque, making light work of hills and make powering along the flat ground a breeze. Select from 5 different power modes depending on how much assistance you want using the sleek and easy to use handlebar display which also shows the current battery level and speed. We’ve also fitted a walk assist mode to help push the bike along when walking.
We’ve fitted the Ridge with 27.5” (650b) wheels for an exhilarating ride, while the 2.35” wide tyres provide plenty of grip in mix of riding conditions. The Ridge 1.0 features a reliable Shimano Altus 1x8 speed gearing, 120mm travel suspension fork with hydraulic lock out, super-wide 680mm bars with a short 50mm stem, easily maintained cable disc brakes, a stylish Selle Royal saddle for additional comfort and lock-on grips.
The Claud Butler Ridge 1.0 is about getting out on the trails and having fun and is available in two sizes. We recommend the Medium for riders who are 5'4" to 5'10" (162cm to 178cm) and Large for riders who are 5'10" to 6'2" (178cm to 188cm).

Direct Delivery Electric Bikes; electric bikes are delivered 'built and ready to ride'. This means one of our trained, expert mechanics has fully assembled your bike in our workshop, applied protective packaging and re-boxed it for our courier to deliver it to you. After delivery you only need to make minor adjustments.
On arrival please complete the following:
Remove the electric bike and any documentation/spare parts boxes from the outer carton and take off any protective packaging.
With the bike on the ground or in a work stand, loosen the bolts on the handlebar stem where it meets the fork, line the handlebars up to the front wheel and re-tighten.
In some cases you may also need to adjust the handlebar angle. To do this please loosen the bolts on the front of the handlebar stem where it meets the handlebars and rotate the bars until it is in a comfortable position, then re-tighten bolts.
Your left pedal will already be fitted, so take the unfitted pedal and screw it clockwise into the threaded hole on your crank arm. We trial fit these prior to dispatch to ensure there is no cross-threading, so please take extra care when fitting.
Adjust your saddle height if necessary by loosening the seat clamp and adjusting it to a suitable height. We recommend that your knee is slightly bent at the bottom of each pedal stroke whilst sat comfortably.
Double check that every bolt you have adjusted is tight.
We recommend charging your ebike to full capacity before you ride it to help the long-term health of your battery. To see if there is sufficient level of charge please check the handlebar display.
Please note - we complete the same pre-departure assembly on folding electric bikes, but dispatch them folded in their original box.
